Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all paperwork, identification, and payments are processed accurately and securely.
- Manage high-volume phone lines and email inquiries regarding reservations, local attractions, and hotel services.
- Resolve guest complaints and special requests promptly to ensure 100% guest satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the front desk area, lobby, and common spaces.
- Assist with concierge services, including making restaurant reservations, booking transportation, and providing local recommendations.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address room issues and guest requests in a timely manner.
- Process daily reports, reconcile cash, and perform credit card transactions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; hospitality or customer service certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk, concierge, or luxury retail environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) such as Opera, Micros, or similar software.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Basic computer literacy and typing speed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 25 lbs).
