Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using the hotel Property Management System (PMS).
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and with a focus on resolution and satisfaction.
- Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately and securely.
- Maintain the lobby area, ensuring it is organized, clean, and welcoming at all times.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs immediately.
- Stay informed about local attractions, events, and transportation options to provide accurate recommendations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality role, preferably in a hotel front desk or reception setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse guests.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, SkyTouch).
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required; bilingual skills are highly preferred.
