Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out processes using property management systems
- Handle reservation inquiries, modifications, and confirmations with accuracy
- Resolve guest complaints and service requests promptly and diplomatically
- Process payments, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet departments for seamless operations
- Market hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experiences
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk area and lobby environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera, OPERA Cloud, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution techniques
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic mathematical skills for financial transactions
- Valid Michigan driver's license (if required for valet coordination)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
