Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/check-out procedures efficiently using Opera PMS system
- Handle guest inquiries with exceptional professionalism and problem-solving skills
- Process payments, manage reservations, and coordinate with housekeeping/bell staff
- Upsell premium services and amenities to enhance guest experience
- Maintain accurate guest records and confidential information
- Resolve guest complaints promptly and escalate when necessary
- Coordinate transportation and local recommendations for guests
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Valid New York State driver's license (preferred)
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of NYC attractions and transportation
