Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest check-in/check-out services using PMS systems
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and VIP guest requests
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency
- Process payments, manage cash handling, and maintain financial accuracy
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet teams
- Upsell hotel amenities and dining experiences to guests
- Maintain detailed logs and shift reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Opera, Fidelio, or similar hotel management systems
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid DC hospitality license (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of DC attractions and transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Multi-language proficiency a strong plus
