Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to all guests, handling inquiries and check-ins/outs efficiently.
- Guest Services: Address guest needs and resolve complaints promptly to ensure a 5-star experience.
- Operations Management: Manage the front desk operations, including answering phones, managing emails, and handling reservations.
- Security & Access: Monitor building access, issue keys/cards, and ensure the safety and security of the property.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between guests and other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to ensure seamless service.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate guest records, handle billing inquiries, and manage cash deposits.
- Lobby Maintenance: Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk, reception, or hospitality role.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) or standard MS Office applications.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact with diverse guests and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
