Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying identity and collecting payments accurately.
- Answer incoming phone lines and emails with a polite, professional, and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and special guest requests with precision.
- Handle guest inquiries regarding local attractions, directions, dining, and hotel services.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and visually welcoming at all times.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as mail sorting, package handling, and filing.
- Monitor building security systems and maintain access control logs.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or reception is preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
- Must possess a professional appearance and a positive, energetic attitude.
- Reliable transportation is required.
