Job Overview
The Front Desk Agent is the face of our hotel. You will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. We are looking for someone who can handle multiple tasks while maintaining a warm and professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Manage incoming phone calls and emails, responding promptly to inquiries regarding bookings and services.
- Process payments accurately and maintain updated records of guest accounts.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room quality standards are met.
- Assist in the marketing of hotel amenities and local attractions to guests.
- Perform light administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous hospitality experience is a plus.
- Strong computer literacy, specifically with Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Must possess a professional appearance and a positive, welcoming attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred but not mandatory.
