Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, checking them in efficiently and professionally.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with a focus on exceeding expectations.
- Manage room reservations and ensure accurate data entry into the Property Management System (PMS).
- Process payments and prepare accurate folios for guests.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
- Assist with lobby concierge duties, such as providing directions and local recommendations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in a front desk, reception, or customer service role preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 lbs).
- A valid driver's license is required.
