Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm and professional greeting to all guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Guest Services: Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, room assignments, and inquiries regarding hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Communication: Answer incoming calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally, handling all correspondence with a friendly tone.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest concerns and complaints with empathy and efficiency, escalating complex issues to the manager when necessary.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate guest records in the hotel management system and handle cash handling, credit card transactions, and petty cash.
- Security: Conduct safety and security checks of the property as required to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Area Maintenance: Keep the front desk area tidy, organized, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency with computer systems, specifically hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professionalism: A polished appearance and professional demeanor that aligns with our luxury brand standards.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
