Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for their stay.
- Check-In/Out: Efficiently manage the registration process, verify guest identities, process payments, and issue room keys using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Inquiry Management: Handle guest inquiries regarding local attractions, restaurant recommendations, and transportation options with professionalism and local expertise.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints or special requests promptly, escalating complex issues to management to ensure total guest satisfaction.
- Housekeeping Coordination: Communicate maintenance needs and special requests to the housekeeping and engineering teams to ensure rooms are prepared to our exacting standards.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate guest logs, prepare daily reports, and assist with inventory management of lobby supplies.
- Security Protocols: Adhere to all hotel security procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Hospitality or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Previous customer service or front desk experience is preferred, but we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in a second language is highly valued.
- Interpersonal Skills: A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor with the ability to interact with guests of all ages and backgrounds.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable learning new software and technology; basic computer skills are required.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by business needs.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
