As a leader in our hotel, you'll manage daily front desk functions, supervise staff, and ensure seamless check-in/check-out processes. Your expertise in guest relations will elevate our service standards while driving operational excellence. This position requires evening and weekend availability.
Responsibilities
- Lead front desk operations and supervise 5-7 team members
- Train staff on Hilton's service standards and reservation systems
- Resolve guest complaints with personalized solutions
- Monitor room inventory and coordinate with housekeeping
- Implement upselling strategies to maximize revenue
- Perform daily audits of front desk reports
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years hotel front desk experience with leadership role
- Proficiency in Opera or similar PMS systems
- Strong conflict resolution and communication skills
- Valid Kansas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality preferred
- SHAHRA or AHLEI certification a plus
- Advanced knowledge of Wichita tourism attractions
