Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations and ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes.
- Greet guests warmly and resolve any complaints or special requests immediately to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Train, mentor, and supervise front desk staff to maintain high performance and service standards.
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and handle inquiries via phone and email efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels for front office supplies and coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness.
- Assist in the creation of staff schedules and ensure proper coverage during peak hours.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, safety regulations, and local laws.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or hotel management certificate preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in front desk operations or supervisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of hotel PMS (Property Management Systems) such as Opera or Micros.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Proven ability to handle pressure, resolve conflicts, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
