Responsibilities
- Guest Services: Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy and a warm welcome for every guest.
- Problem Solving: Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with empathy and professionalism to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Operations: Process daily financial transactions accurately, including credit card payments and billing adjustments.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for guests and internal departments, utilizing radio and telephone systems effectively.
- Administration: Maintain accurate guest records in the Property Management System (PMS) and assist with front desk administrative duties.
- Standards: Uphold the hotel's standards of cleanliness and safety, ensuring the front desk area is organized and welcoming.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or hospitality role is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Interpersonal: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
