Responsibilities
- Oversee front desk operations, ensuring seamless check-in/check-out experiences
- Train and mentor front desk staff on service standards and protocols
- Manage guest complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and maintenance departments
- Implement upselling strategies to maximize room revenue and ancillary sales
- Maintain accurate reservation systems and guest data
- Conduct daily briefings and staff performance evaluations
Qualifications
- 3+ years hotel front desk experience with supervisory role
- Proven expertise in PMS systems (Opera/Micros preferred)
- Exceptional conflict resolution and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Valid Michigan Food Handler/ServSafe certification
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Associate degree in Hospitality or related field
