Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all daily operations of the hotel, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service across all departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering.
- Financial Management: Manage the hotel’s P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives to maximize profitability and revenue growth.
- Guest Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with VIP guests and key accounts, personally addressing inquiries and resolving complex issues to ensure a 5-star experience.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, motivate, and develop a high-performing diverse team, fostering a culture of collaboration and respect.
- Marketing & Sales: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive occupancy rates, manage group reservations, and enhance the hotel's brand presence in the Boston market.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies and brand standards.
- Event Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of high-profile events and conferences held within the hotel.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading large teams and driving operational excellence.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of property management systems (PMS) and MS Office Suite.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
