Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage services, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
- Manage the hotel budget, forecast revenue, and implement strategies to maximize profitability and occupancy rates.
- Lead, mentor, and train a diverse staff of 50+ employees, fostering a culture of customer service excellence and professional development.
- Respond to guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure 100% guest satisfaction and positive reviews.
- Coordinate with regional management to align with corporate goals and participate in marketing initiatives to drive local and regional bookings.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and fire regulations, as well as labor laws.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to maintain the highest standards of luxury and comfort.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel management, preferably in a luxury or upscale property.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing large teams and driving performance.
- Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera, Micros, or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
- Knowledge of local Albuquerque attractions and the broader Texas hospitality market is a plus.
