Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations during assigned shifts (overnight, evening, or morning)
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and VIP requests with discretion
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and brand standards
- Process financial transactions and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams
- Implement emergency procedures during critical incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years hotel management experience with shift leadership
- Proven conflict resolution and customer service expertise
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, etc.)
- Strong multitasking abilities in high-pressure environments
- Valid California Food Handler's certification preferred
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for extended periods
