Responsibilities
- Manage overnight shift operations including front desk, security, and maintenance teams
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and VIP requests with professionalism
- Oversee check-in/check-out processes and room status management
- Coordinate emergency response procedures and ensure safety compliance
- Train and mentor staff on service standards and operational protocols
- Prepare shift reports and communicate critical information to day management
- Monitor inventory levels and manage supply requisitions
Qualifications
- 3+ years hotel or luxury hospitality management experience
- Proven ability to lead teams during high-pressure situations
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, etc.)
- Valid California Food Handler/Safety certification preferred
- Exceptional communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
