Responsibilities
- Oversee front desk operations, check-in/check-out procedures, and guest services during assigned shifts
- Manage staff scheduling, break times, and performance coaching for 5-10 team members
- Handle escalated guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism
- Monitor security protocols, emergency procedures, and building safety standards
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B teams for seamless service delivery
- Complete shift reports, incident documentation, and inventory management
- Train new staff on hotel systems, service standards, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel/hospitality experience with supervisory background
- Flexible availability for evening/night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Strong problem-solving skills and crisis management abilities
- Proficient in PMS systems (Opera, OPERA Cloud preferred)
- Valid Louisiana Food Handler/Seller certification
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift up to 30 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred
