Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts, including front desk, housekeeping, and concierge services
- Manage staff scheduling, performance, and training for shift-based teams
- Resolve guest complaints and service escalations with professionalism and urgency
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and brand standards across all departments
- Coordinate with management on occupancy trends, inventory, and operational challenges
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and post-shift evaluations for team members
- Process payments, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate financial records
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hotel supervisory experience with proven shift leadership
- Proficiency in property management systems (e.g., Opera, Amadeus)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Texas Food Handler/ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation
