Responsibilities
- Manage all front desk operations during assigned shifts, including check-ins/outs and guest inquiries
- Oversee housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms and public areas meet standards
- Handle guest complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Train and mentor new staff members on hotel procedures and service excellence
- Monitor security protocols and emergency procedures during overnight shifts
- Coordinate with departments (F&B, Valet, Engineering) for seamless operations
- Complete shift reports and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel supervisory experience required
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong conflict resolution and customer service skills
- Proficient in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Delphi)
- Ability to work under pressure during peak periods
- Valid Pennsylvania Food Handler's Certificate preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree a plus
