Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage all hotel operations during the shift, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance coordination to ensure smooth workflow.
- Guest Experience: Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to ensure 100% guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Staff Management: Supervise, train, and motivate hotel staff, conducting shift briefings and performance evaluations.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce all health, safety, and security protocols, ensuring the property meets local and corporate regulations.
- Financial Control: Monitor daily operational reports, manage petty cash, and assist in controlling labor costs and expenses.
- Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules to accommodate business needs while ensuring adequate coverage.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for emergencies and escalate issues to upper management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in hotel operations or a related field.
- Leadership: Proven track record of supervising teams and leading by example in a service-oriented environment.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, exceptional communication abilities, and proficiency in hotel management software.
- Interpersonal: Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
