Responsibilities
- Room Preparation: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to hotel standards.
- Amenities: Stock bathrooms with fresh linens, toiletries, and amenities, ensuring everything is replenished and organized.
- Public Areas: Maintain the cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, and common areas to ensure a pristine first impression for visitors.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and report low stock levels of cleaning supplies to the management team.
- Inspection: Conduct final inspections of rooms to ensure all safety protocols and quality standards are met before guest check-in.
- Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items to the maintenance or front office teams immediately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for cleanliness and a commitment to excellence.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable, with a consistent work history.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
