Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen tech solutions
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) for commercial viability
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and venture partners
- Collaborate with global innovation labs to accelerate R&D cycles
- Secure $5M+ annual funding for strategic initiatives
- File 10+ patents annually for proprietary innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, neuromorphic engineering
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Technology journals
- Experience securing Series B+ funding for tech ventures
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud architecture (AWS/Azure)
- Security clearance for federal partnerships (preferred)
