Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, aligning with business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and innovation gaps
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic technologies into commercial offerings
- Author thought leadership reports and present strategic insights to stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for pilot projects and R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and stakeholder alignment
- Certification in innovation management or technology strategy preferred
