Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 2026+ innovation roadmaps aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Lead cross-functional workshops to future-proof product portfolios
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and trend briefs for Fortune 500 clients
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and technological disruptions
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary Horizon Scanning Methodology
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and DARPA
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurism research
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (Nature, MIT Tech Review)
- Expertise in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- Proven track record of implementing future-back innovation strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning Delphi, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020-2025 trend predictions with 85%+ accuracy
- Experience advising boards on long-term technological disruption
