Responsibilities
- Anticipate global technology, economic, and societal shifts through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop innovation roadmaps aligning with company vision and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members through compelling narratives
- Collaborate with venture capital partners to identify emerging technologies and investment opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry forums
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies and strategic foresight frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into successful commercial initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and trend impact analysis
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and foresight software
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analyses or innovation strategy frameworks
- Experience with AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech commercialization preferred
