- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology sectors to identify transformative opportunities for 2026
- Develop and execute scenario planning frameworks for 5-10 year strategic horizons
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author high-impact foresight reports and thought leadership content for executive stakeholders
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops with Fortune 500 partners to co-create future roadmaps
- Build and maintain an external futurist network including academia, startups, and policy influencers
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies and product roadmaps
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Futures Studies, or equivalent field with 8+ years of experience
- Proven track record of applying futurist methodologies to drive business strategy and innovation
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI, neurotech, and climate engineering
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Executive presence with demonstrated experience presenting to C-suite boards and investors
- Certification in futures research (e.g., CFrA) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Published thought leader with 50+ articles/whitepapers on future trends and innovation
- Portfolio demonstrating impact from previous futurist or innovation strategy initiatives
