Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps anticipating 2026+ innovations (quantum computing, neuro interfaces, AI ethics)
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping next-gen solutions with C-suite stakeholders
- Produce quarterly Future Impact Reports analyzing tech disruptions to our industry
- Establish strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Mentor internal 'Innovation Champions' across 15 global offices
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D budget for experimental technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record predicting market shifts (portfolio of successful 3-5 year forecasts)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (Web3, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology certification
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech/futurism publications
