Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the hotel to ensure seamless service delivery and a comfortable environment for all guests.
- Financial Management: Manage the P&L, set and monitor budgets, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Guest Experience: Spearhead initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction scores and maintain the hotel's high standards of luxury and comfort.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse staff, fostering a positive work culture and high employee retention rates.
- Marketing & Sales: Collaborate with the sales team to drive occupancy through local events, corporate partnerships, and targeted marketing campaigns.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in hotel management, with 2+ years in a leadership role within a luxury or upscale hotel environment.
- Skills: Proficiency in property management systems (e.g., Oracle Opera, Micros) and budgeting software.
- Leadership: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate large teams effectively.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts efficiently.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
