Your Mission
As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, safety, and profitability. You will be the face of the property, driving revenue growth and fostering a culture of excellence among your staff.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to maximize occupancy rates and revenue per available room (RevPAR).
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience by personally addressing inquiries and resolving escalated issues.
- Manage the P&L, including budget forecasting, cost control, and inventory management.
- Mentor and train management staff, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
- Enforce all health, safety, and security protocols to ensure a safe stay for guests and employees.
- Build relationships with local businesses and tourism boards to drive group bookings and events.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of managing hotel P&L and achieving financial targets.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, and food & beverage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid Hospitality Manager’s license or similar certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office Suite.
