Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate all resort operations, including front-of-house, housekeeping, culinary, and maintenance departments.
- Manage the hotel’s P&L, ensuring profitability through strategic planning, effective cost control, and revenue growth initiatives.
- Foster a culture of exceptional guest service, ensuring every guest interaction exceeds expectations.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, government officials, and community leaders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop management staff to ensure high employee engagement and retention.
- Oversee marketing and sales strategies to maximize occupancy and average daily rate (ADR).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 2 years in a General Manager or Assistant General Manager role.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar budgets and achieving financial targets.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Administration, Business Management, or related field is preferred.
- Valid Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness certifications as required by state law.
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
