Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations and VIP guest experiences
- Train and mentor guest service team members on service standards
- Resolve escalated guest concerns with empathy and efficiency
- Implement revenue-generating upselling strategies for room packages
- Collaborate with concierge and housekeeping teams for seamless service
- Analyze guest feedback to improve operational workflows
- Coordinate special events and group check-ins
Qualifications
- 5+ years luxury hotel experience with 2+ years in leadership
- Proven expertise in Opera or similar PMS systems
- Exceptional conflict resolution and communication skills
- Valid California Food Handler and Alcohol Service certification
- Strong knowledge of San Diego tourism landscape
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- College degree in Hospitality or related field required
