As a Supervisor, you will be the face of our housekeeping operations during your shift, ensuring our rooms and public spaces meet our exacting standards of cleanliness and luxury. Responsibilities
- Supervise Operations: Lead and direct the housekeeping staff during assigned shifts to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to brand standards.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct detailed inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure impeccable cleanliness and presentation.
- Shift Management: Manage shift handovers, distribute daily assignments, and provide real-time feedback to team members.
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests regarding room cleanliness or amenities immediately and professionally.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and order cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring the department remains stocked and cost-effective.
- Training & Development: Mentor new hires, train staff on safety protocols and equipment usage, and foster a positive team culture.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Leadership: Proven ability to motivate staff, resolve conflicts, and maintain high morale during busy periods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods without assistance.
- Tools: Proficient in using property management systems (PMS) or similar hotel software.
