Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process.
- Manage guest inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Operate the Property Management System (PMS) to process reservations, room assignments, and billing accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and designated zones to meet high aesthetic standards.
- Process payments and reconcile daily financial transactions with precision.
- Assist guests with local recommendations, directions, and transportation arrangements to enhance their stay.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with property management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) is a plus.
- Must possess a friendly, approachable, and problem-solving attitude under pressure.
- Ability to stand and move around the hotel property for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
