Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to guests upon arrival and departure.
  • Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently using the Opera PMS and other hotel software.
  • Manage phone lines, respond to emails, and handle guest inquiries with poise and accuracy.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
  • Assist guests with local recommendations, directions, and special requests.
  • Handle cash transactions, credit card processing, and petty cash reconciliation.
  • Resolve guest complaints and escalate complex issues to the Front Office Manager immediately.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest room readiness.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required; some college coursework is a plus.
  • Previous hospitality experience is preferred, but we are happy to train motivated entry-level candidates.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new property management systems quickly.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift luggage or boxes up to 25 lbs.
