Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor 15+ front desk team members to exceed service standards
- Handle VIP guest requests and complex reservation management
- Oversee check-in/out procedures and optimize room allocation
- Resolve escalated guest issues with solution-oriented approach
- Collaborate with housekeeping, concierge, and F&B departments
- Implement training programs for new hires and service upgrades
- Analyze guest feedback to drive operational improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years hotel experience with 2+ years in leadership role
- Proficiency in Opera PMS and hotel management systems
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Valid California Food Handler's Card (or obtain within 30 days)
- Strong knowledge of San Diego attractions and local services
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights/weekends/holidays
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management preferred
