Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff, laundry attendants, and housepersons.
- Maintain accurate inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages or damages promptly.
- Conduct regular, thorough inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and staff quarters.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints regarding cleanliness or facilities with professionalism and urgency.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and fire regulations.
- Collaborate with the Front Desk and Engineering departments to address maintenance needs quickly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Head Housekeeper, Executive Housekeeper, or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and proper sanitation techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) safely.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality management certification is a plus.
