Responsibilities
- Manage daily hotel operations during assigned shifts (evenings/nights/weekends)
- Oversee front desk activities including check-ins, check-outs, and guest services
- Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless property upkeep
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism
- Monitor security protocols and emergency procedures during shift hours
- Train and mentor new team members on service standards
- Prepare shift reports and handover documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel or hospitality management experience
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera/PMS preferred)
- Valid Maryland Food Handler's/ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills
