Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for visitors from Detroit, Michigan, and Ohio.
- Assist with the check-in and check-out process efficiently using hotel management software.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby, and public areas.
- Handle guest requests, such as restaurant reservations, valet parking, and local recommendations.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
- Process payments and resolve minor guest issues to ensure a seamless stay experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods, including during busy shifts.
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn hotel management systems.
- Reliable transportation is preferred for commuting within the Detroit area.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
