Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations efficiently, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
- Greet guests warmly and provide personalized service to ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date guest information in our Property Management System (PMS).
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are pristine and ready for arrival.
- Process payments and verify folios with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Promote hotel amenities, restaurant services, and local attractions to enhance the guest stay.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or hotel management certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel reservation software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards guest satisfaction.
- Fluency in English; bilingual skills in Spanish are highly desirable.
