Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out processes using Opera property management system
- Resolve guest inquiries with proactive problem-solving and personalized service
- Coordinate room assignments and VIP requests with housekeeping management
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial transaction records
- Collaborate with concierge team to enhance guest experiences and local recommendations
- Monitor security procedures and emergency response protocols
- Train and mentor new front desk staff on service standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with Opera property management system or similar PMS
- Exceptional communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish preferred)
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment during peak hours
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Illinois Food Handler's Card (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
