Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest check-in/check-out services using Opera property management system
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest inquiries with precision
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues using company escalation protocols
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet departments
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Execute upselling strategies for room upgrades and amenities
- Ensure lobby area maintains premium appearance standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or guest services experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, Delphi preferred)
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends/holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing
- Valid California driver's license (for valet coordination)
- Knowledge of Long Beach tourism attractions and services
- Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred
