Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using Opera property management system
- Manage reservation inquiries and optimize room occupancy
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and reconcile daily reports
- Resolve guest complaints with professionalism and urgency
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments
- Market hotel amenities and local attractions to guests
- Maintain accurate guest records and confidential information
Qualifications
- 1+ years hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math and cash handling abilities
- Texas food handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for extended periods
