Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, managing check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Answer incoming calls, take reservations, and manage guest inquiries regarding local attractions and services in Washington DC.
- Handle guest complaints or requests promptly to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Process payments and manage credit card transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs.
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or the hotel industry is preferred but not required (we train).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency with computers and property management systems (PMS).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- A friendly, approachable demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
