Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, friendly welcome to guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Guest Services: Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests efficiently, utilizing the hotel's service recovery protocols.
- Reservations & Check-in: Process check-ins and check-outs accurately using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Communication: Answer incoming phone calls professionally and route messages to the appropriate departments.
- Lobby Management: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Payment Processing: Process cash, credit card, and other forms of payment securely and accurately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure guest needs are met.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent work experience is accepted.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills and comfort with learning new software applications (training provided).
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Attitude: A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to help others.
