What You Will Do:
As a Front Desk Associate, you will be the face of our hotel. Your role is crucial in ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive.
Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out processes efficiently.
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and empathy, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Operations Support: Manage phone calls, emails, and reservations using our property management system to ensure seamless operations.
- Area Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and common spaces to meet our high standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and amenities are in perfect condition.
- Administrative Tasks: Process payments, verify identification, and handle cash or credit transactions accurately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior hospitality experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Technical: Basic computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn hotel software.
- Physical: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 lbs) when necessary.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
