Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all required paperwork and payments are processed correctly.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails, responding to inquiries regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions with a friendly demeanor.
- Assist guests with check-out procedures, including settling bills and providing receipts.
- Manage the front desk switchboard and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address guest requests promptly.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate daily logs and reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with hotel management software is a plus but not required.
- A positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects.
