Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Guest Services: Check guests in and out efficiently, process payments accurately, and answer questions regarding hotel amenities and local DC attractions.
- Reservations Management: Assist with front desk operations, including managing room availability and making reservations using property management systems.
- Communication: Relay messages to guests and staff promptly and accurately using the hotel's communication systems.
- Lobby Maintenance: Maintain a tidy, organized front desk area and lobby environment at all times.
- Problem Resolution: Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with a focus on guest satisfaction and problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience: No prior hotel or hospitality experience required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed.
